BGLCOMP.EXE doesn't work!

Postby Conan Edogawa » Tue Dec 26, 2006 4:45 pm

Hey guys,

I'm new here so please don't mind if I do sth wrong. ;)

After all I need to use bglcomp.exe . I did everything the readme said.

Installing:

-Microsoft's MSXML4
-Microsoft's Dotnetfx NET Framework
-bglcomp.exe

I installed all of these files as required, but it still does not work. :'(

I need them otherwise I cannot modify airports as I wish to (because of missing buildings/trees on taxiways).

Thanks for help,

Conan  ;o)

what library are you using? Rwy12? Are you using the correct XML format? Do you have a up-to-date version of bglcomp(not any other sims version.) Have you used a flatten. I have had the problem when fs loads the building, then the flatten, deleting the buildings. check th hierarchy.

I downloaded Rwy12, and as a result of this package - only god knows why - bglcomp doesn't work. I think it's the up-to-date-vers because bglcomp was in the program (Rwy12 Vers 4 I guess). I tried it earlier and it did not work at that time and I gave up. Now I'm really supposed to use it, that's why I'm asking here...

Bad news, mine is from MS.  :-/ The Compiler compiles only a few demo xml's but not mine. For Example: I made one *.xml with my ExcBuilderV2. I click on "Generate source code" and "Save source and generate .bgl", but it only saves the stupid file without compiling! Manual compiling like drag&drop doesn't work either!  :'(

Related news: Since about two hours, my ObjectPlacer from Rwy12 is broken too. Probably bug in framework...

You cannot imagine how i hate this waterfall of errors!! >:(
