What do I have to do to get going on FSSC?  I seem to be lost and computer illiterate

What I did was opened it, tried it, gave up, closed it, and opened AFCAD :D

I think the problem is not the program, wrather the user, in my case.

What do I have to do?  What is the other program you recommend?

Exactly what are you intending to do Duck? Are you using FS2004 or FS2002?

Here is an uncomplete list of scenery design programs which may be interesting to you, we can point you to the right ones once we know a little more.
