Trees show up as white squares

Postby TSC. » Sun Jul 31, 2005 4:54 pm

Hi,

Have just installed 'Hanks Trading Post II' from Bush Flying Unlimited & I love the scenery. The only problem I have is that a lot of the trees (I assume they would be trees) only show up as white squares. I have installed 'Gerrish Gray's Trees' from the same site, but was unable to download the 'Airport Texture V2.5' because the link was dead.

I used FlightSim Manager to install both the scenery & the tree's because i'm lazy, but both files show up in my scenery library in FS9.

I was wandering if anybody else had come across this & new of a solution - or whether it was because I was unable to download the airport textures.

Here is what the scenery looks like:

& this is the airport textures link I was unable to download:

Thankyou for looking,

I used FlightSim Manager to install both the scenery & the tree's because i'm lazy, but both files show up in my scenery library in FS9.

This could be the reason those tree textures don't display. Read the instructions & don't be lazy. :P ;)

You can get the standard Airport textures right here at SimV. http://www.simviation.com/fsdesign_scenery2.htm

Thanks for the link Hagar.

Normally I would've spent a while installing it properly & then trying to figure it out myself - but I've been enjoying a nice glass of red tonight & not only has it  increased my laziness - but my ability to concentrate on moving files around has completely gone out the window LOL.

Thanks again Hagar,

TSC.
