GPS

Postby sir_crashalot » Mon Jun 13, 2005 11:57 am

Hi,

I am wondering if there are any other GPS installations other than the two Garmins (500 and 215) that work in FS2004. I was looking for this for the panel I am building.

Thanks in advance,

Crash ;)

There are several different GPSs that work for FS2004.

Take a look here at Simviation:   http://www.simviation.com/fsgauges6.htm

That starts you with the newest.........work your way back. Hope you find what you want.

Thanks for the advice, Fireman. I tried several of the newest but somehow they don't seem to work. They either crash FS9 or are only suitable for FS2002 or FS2000. Is no problem, will stick with the standard GPS 295 for now.

Ok, well the default FS9 acft. have several different types of GPSs in use. If you like one over the other, just replace the GPS entries in the panel.cfg with the ones from the panel.cfg of the acft. using the GPS that you like.

Here is a link to another site that has gauges, you might check them out and see if they have anything for FS9.
