Multiple Panels?

Postby flyflyflyaway » Sun Jan 23, 2005 9:09 pm

I was wondering if you could have multiple panels in one aircraft? If so, how would you do this?

Thanks!

Yes, nothin' to it. in a word? . . .
alias

I use Barry Blaisdell's (PREMAIRCRAFT)'s method by creating one folder in the FS9/aircraft folder and keep all the addon panels in there. to use the default or already-installed-in-aircraft panels simply point the alias=folder\named-panel
[b]Here's a sample alias panel.cfg

I check out a lot of panels & often have different variations of the same aircraft with each using a different panel. This is quite straightforward & based on the standard FS folder-naming conventions used for texture folders. Install as many different panels as you wish with the Panel folders named Panel.0, Panel.1, Panel.2 etc. Then add the extra Aircraft.cfg entries (as with new texture variations) & point the panel= line at the required folder.
panel=0
panel=1
panel=2

& so on ad infinitum.
