gauges

hello  found a plane with great gauges how do i put it in other planes that i like?

I'v found that by copying the gauge line (Like:

Oh yes I forgot to say that some gauges for some reason don't have the last 2 sets of numbers, (The size) and also that the first number of the gauge line is left to right and the second is up and down. As for the missing size numbers, if there are none just add them like others in your file. PS. I assume your useing 2004 and have and use Notepad to open the Cfg. file. If I missed anything let me know. I started out just moving and sizing gauges to get the feel of it all.

If you just use CFGEdit.exe you can place your gauges visually without all this trial and error. As it's freeware it hasn't been developed to handle cab files (it's big payware brother can) but everyone uses it for panel design and mods including me without any major problems.

Yes it is a time consuming prosses I discribed. I was hopeing some one would clue me in as to an easer way to do this. I'l give it a try. PS. I wish there was a spell checker for this forum. Spelling is not one of my strong points! Thanks for the tip!!!  Wildie

I thought I tryed that before. Reason for not useing it; CfgEdit does not support FS2002, FS2004 or Gauge editing. I think I spent way too much time trying to get it to work for me. Perhaps I'l go ahead and pay for the right one in the future. As for now I know my method, as cubersom as it may be does work!
