There's two ways of doing what you want. One is to learn scenery design and create scenery from scratch. This is time consuming but much more versitile.
The second choice is to purchase a payware utility that lets you add objects. There's a new one out that I haven't tried yet so I can't comment on that but an older one by Lago called FSE "FS Scenery Enhancer" can add objects pretty easily. The only problem is that it has had problems from it's release and Lago, who previously was a stand up company has fallen on hard times and I can't vouch for them anymore.
If you have the money to spare and want to give it a try the Lago product may work OK for you. Some have problems and some don't. They recently released an update to it but it still doesn't produce the functionality that was promised in the advertising.
The good thing about FSE is that you can insert objects from within the sim. If you experience no technical problems and are satisfied with the objects that come with the utility then you may find FSE to your liking. I just want to advise you to be ware of the current Lago. They aren't the company who first owned that name. Personell have changed and a number of people have complained of being cheated.
