GaryR,

Hi.  Not sure about panels that are constructed IN the sim.... because I am working on a simpit and am constructing stuff and writing code for stuff that is for stand alone programs for glass cockpit use...........  running on external machines.

But FSUIPC has a wonderful SDK that shows all the data that fs2004 is keeping "track" of.  Many of the items relate to stuff that involves such systems that you are interested in controling.  This may be a good start to check out

I do know that some in-sim panels utilize FSUIPC to "access" certain data... but not doing virtual panel design myself... I really don't know exactly how that stuff is handled.

I am sure that the Microsoft SDK would have a lot of useful info in it.

best,

Well, actually this DC-10 does not have a DVC. I am going to add the flight engineer panel as a 2D pop-up similar to a 727.707. and an L1011 you may have seen.  Anyway, my use of fsuipc is rather limited as I only have the free version which locks the advanced features.  My wife would flip if I use our bank card to buy the liscense for it. She doesn't care for my hobby at all as she feels I spend way too much time on it.  Whish I could find a way to get the liscense by money order.  Maybe if I write Pete Dowson.
