Gauges in VC fuzzy - why?

  Why are the gauges in virtual cockpit view so fuzzy and unclear ?   No particular model or sim - CFS, CFS2, CSF3, FS2k and FS2k2 they're all lacking in clarity and for that reason make VC look hokey. Is there some fix for this ?

Check your display settings,  under aircraft, VC gauge quality.

Dear Andy:  I don't seem to be able to find that option under displays. Can you be a little more specific ?
