Need advice, starting advanced effort.

Hi guys.

I just downloaded the brand new CRJ 700 from Premier Designs.  Maybe some of you know about it by now, its been front page on avsim.com and fs.com.  Now, I like the a/c and its as good an effort on a crj as has been found so far without paying $39 to get Wilco's commercial version.  However.  One thing bothers me so far.  What annoys me a bit is the fact that certain controls that should be on the overhead have been placed forward of the throttles which is not the proper placement in a crj.  Now, I want to create a semi functional overhead for my own use.  I intend to write Barry Blaisdell @ Premier for his blessing first.  But, I also whish to use a clipped version of Wilco's CRJ overhead bmp.  I saved the overhead screenie from their website and I intend to clip it off just above the light switches and at the jionture between the panel itself and the blending with the flight deck ceiling that is shown.  What are the rules regarding something like that?  Is an altered form of an element like that for personal use still a type of piracy?

Yeah, I think so :-X

Might be better to make a new one yourself, at least that way you can still upload it if you want :)

I don't think its piracy as long as you use it [glb]only[/glb] for personal use.
