Need gauges!

Postby Travis » Fri Aug 27, 2004 2:30 am

I've need gauges for a 1930's era aircraft, specifically one with four engines.  I need FOUR different engine gauges, so I don't know what to use.

I only have FS2k2, so keep that in mind if you reply.

Go to Californiaclassics.com.  I think thats it, or try variations of that URL.  You can find there a Boeing Stratocruiser model.  Now, I realize the Strat is a 40's era plane modified from the B-29 but hey, who can tell the difference? I doubt that engine guages for piston aircraft engines evolved much from the 30's to the 40's so if you go with that I believe it would be a reasonably accurate representation of what you're looking for.

Also, I've discovered that .gau files seem to work well in all versions of FS.  Example:  I am using a simplified INS gauge borrowed from a sharware concorde model that was designed under FS98.  I am using it in a panel in COF and it works just fine.  Takes my DC-10 with panel by Dale Britton anywhere I want it to go  :)
