Adding Carriers to new locations

Postby Shinigami » Tue Jul 20, 2004 11:57 pm

Hi does anyone know how to add aircraft carriers to new locations? I have downloaded carriers for FS9,and would like to place one of them in Lake Erie. I dont know anything about scenery editing so any help would be appreciated.

Sorry, can't do that as locations are specific to each scenery.

However, if you download my User Friendly Scenery Design Package from SIMV and follow the simple tute you will soon be able to place default carriers anywhere you want.

your gonna stick a carrier in a lake? hmmmm thats the sort of thing some rich billionaire would do with excess money :D

if you have fsds and use the source file from the addon carrier then you can place them somewhere else :D but i dont have a clue how to make that all work but it can be done...rollerball stop being so negative :P :)

Daz - stop being so silly. If you care to check out my scenery package you will find that I've taken the trouble to make adding default objects easy for everyone - even people with no scenery knowledge whatsoever.

It would be crazy to suggest that someone with no experience should buy and learn fsds2 when you can get my package from SimV at no cost and start using the new XML scenery SDK to place objects anywhere in your scenery in minutes.

I've had dozens of emails from people all over the world who have done just that and are very grateful for it, some of whom I'm glad to say have then gone on to do bigger and better scenery things.

So
