Help

Postby mikey4020 » Fri May 21, 2004 11:05 am

i have had problems with fs2002 indexing proceses when modifying airports with afcad so i scanned for with the BGL scanner and found this problem
[glb]Listing from facility BGL file scan.

The program detected no BGL file format errors.

The following facility BGL file(s) were found to have an abnormal checksum.
Files of this type do not contain airports and should never change after.
being installed. Having an abnormal checksum indicates they have either been
altered, or they are corrupt. This can cause problems for FS2002.
You can get fresh copies of these files from the FS2002 CD 2, they are in the
folder SCENEDB\ATC\SCENERY\ .  Replace these files with fresh copies and run
this scanner again.  If the files still come up with an abnormal checksum then
they may be corrupt on the CD. You should try to get a replacement copy from
somewhere else

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\FS2002\scenedb\ATC\scenery\geopol03.bgl  (Stock file)
[/glb]

so i did as above and still the same prob

so i was wondering if someone could email me that file please michaelpollock40@hotmail.com

While the mods are usually pretty quick, waiting for a mod to move it might not get him the help he needs as fast as he'd like it.

So I usually try to point people in the right direction before the mods get it.  lol
