Problem with CfgEdit

Postby Stratobat » Sat May 22, 2004 2:51 am

Hey Guys,

I'm having a problem with CfgEdit.

I'm working on a panel, but every time I try to access the gauge directory in FS 2002 to add a gauge to the panel, it tells me that there are no gauges in the directory. I try to access the Properties menu under gauges and it's shadowed (Not clickable).

I've checked the path, and it's right (C:\Program Files\Microsoft games\Flight Simulator 2002\gauges)

Any suggestions?

Regards,
Stratobat

Hi Strat. Try setting the path to the FS2002 main directory folder. ;)

PS. Mine is C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\FS2002

I can't figure it either. I've been using CfgEdit since it was first released & never had a problem. I regularly swap the paths around to modify panels in all my M$ sims, sometimes duplicates.

Are you sure the path is correct? Use the Browse button in your first shot to navigate to & select the FS2002 main directory folder. If the gauges are in the FS2002\Gauges folder it should find them.

The Gauge/Properties option will be greyed out unless you select a gauge on the panel.

Fixed up, thanks Hagar :)

I still don't get it though, the path is exactly the same as it was when I was having the problem ???

Anyway, thanks again :)
