Attention Airport Designers

Postby ImmediateAxis » Sun Apr 25, 2004 11:14 pm

I have done numerous research on design only to find...."It's way over my head". I am wondering if there is someone out there that may be able to assist in putting a logo on an airport building and adding a few static aircraft? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. We want to stay as close to the original as possible but merly want to "tweak" a few things.

Thanks a Mill!

Yes, It is 100% freeware.
There are about 20 of us that fly on a server at www.midwest-aviation.net

We are based here in the Midwest and fly out of KUIN.

In real life, there are 8 of us that have private,IFR,Multi and CFI ratings and there are a few things we like to add to the airport for FS2004 to make it more realistic.

Here is some info on the airport. http://www.griveraviation.com

Hey I just luv this Quincy Regional. Might have to go and live there. Everything has stopped at 2001!

Aircraft for sale is due checks in 2001, the World Freefall event is due to happen there in 2001...and I'll bet there's permanent coffee brewing in the Clubhouse and real roses over the hangar door.

It really

Yeah, not much on updating their web page I guess. Still a great little airport to fly out of though. I was wanting to see if someone could add a few static Pipers and our logo to a building and perhaps a few other little modifications? It is also the home of "Air America" where they rebuild Mig jets. Its actually a very busy place. Our logo and pics of the migs is on the web site at:

www.midwest-aviation.net

We also give away free t-shirts every month if you are registered with the forum.

Again, if anyone could help us, we'd greatly appreciate it. The airport is KUIN and our web page is

www.midwest-aviation.net

All we are really wanting is our logo on one of the hangers and a few static planes (Piper Warrior, Cherokee 180 etc.) and a few migs near the last hanger as static with a sign that says, Air America or World Free Convevtion. Links to their logo and page are on our links page. Thanks again.

I work with FS2002, but I think most of my stuff works for FS9. I may be able to find time to make some AI traffic of Pipers etc.. for the area, if you would like that. I live in the UK though.

I am not real knowledgable on the AI aircraft (as to where to install them) but anything to liven up the airport would be great!!
Thanks for your response.
