FSSC - Creating elevated objects

Postby horseflyken » Fri Mar 12, 2004 12:56 pm

Hi All

I have an airport terminal that I have designed with FSSC. I want to add some elevated passenger bridges from a parking garage to the terminal. I've played around with the "alt" entry but everything I construct wants to stay at ground level. Is there no way of making elevated objects with this program?

    Thanks   Snowgoose

Welcome to the forums :)

Have you tried using EOD?

You can create the elevated bridge in EOD and export it as an API for use in FSSC. All you'd need to do is rotate the API in FSSC so that it lines up between the parking garage and the terminal.

EOD: http://www.echos.ch/eod/

Geez strat that was a lotta abreviations. You are 100% correct though. Design the object (which may take a few trys to get it perfect) then export and import. Just get the scale right (try not to make it any larger than it has to be, we don't need it hanging through the terminal now do we?) :P Good luck and welcome to the forums as he said! ;)
