I plan to create a flat surface in EOD with some taxiway markings on it. Is it possible to create a texture for this which has some lines etc on but with the rest of it see-through? I could just colour the rest of it the same colour as the taxiway but I would prefer not to as it might look abit strange!
Has anyone got any Ideas?

With Afcad2 you can modify/add taxiways & aprons to existing airports. You may or not be able to do this while creating an airport from scratch

Im afraid I can't use AFCAD for various reasons for my scenery other than to use it as it was used in FS2002. It would all be a bit tricky combining FSSC and AFCAD to make visual scenery as they tend to wipe each other out!
I have the all the main aprons and Taxiways down in FSSC but this would just be a little detailed surface over the area where the AC parks.

Heres the sort of thing, but with a see-through background texture.

I nicked Mav316's pic!

Bird man. I think you could create a transparent texture quite easily with BMP2000.
