Painting Brett's Bonanza

Postby Frequent Flyer » Sun Jan 24, 2010 12:32 pm

I finally decided to paint Brett's Bonanza, and the paintkit is works perfect apart for 2 places that don't seem to paint:
Image
1) The area between the two tails
2) The front areas of the nose.

I'd appreciate it if someone could point out where on the paintkit I should paint to color these areas.

Thanks alot, and another thank you to Brett for creating this amazing bird.

Well the nose paint is below the tyre texture, but I can't find a separate texture for that tail thing... :-/

One last question:
Where do I paint (actually, un-paint) the following places?

That's the antenna and some parts of the 1st window on the right side.

Thanks!

The door is mapped to align with the right side of the fuselage. It is a planar map, and the fuselage halfs are mapped by selected polygons from a cylindrical UVW. The door mapping "stretches" a bit, and is picking up part of the stripe along the top.. You'll have to narrow that strip a bit.

The antenna is mapped so that it maches the "roof".

Long story short.. you can't stripe the roof..  due to short-comings in my mapping skill (patience   :P )
