Removing window transparancy

Postby asnamara » Wed Nov 28, 2007 6:38 pm

Hello there,
I'd like to make a repaint, but in order to do that i'd like to remove the transparency of the rear windows (green arrow in pic). Basically i'll like to turn the 208 into a cargo. Is there anyway to do that with just textures themselves?
Otherwise, i could edit the model itself, but i don't know of any .mdl to .3ds/.gmax converters. Do they exist?

Thanks for your help ;)

I don't know the texture for this a/c, but you might want to try and modify the alphachannel for that particular texture. A black alpha usually gives transparancy, so changing it to grey or white should make it non-transparent.

Load the aircraft with no textures(It should show up all grey?)...If the windows still show up they are "Modeled" and cant' be "Painted over".

Hope this helps?
