Modifying the pilot

I am doing a theme skin and i want to change the pilots face. I know how to do it in Photoshop, any pointers?
Intel Q6600 @ 2.40GHz
Crappy Asus OEM motherboard
Noisy Seagate 320GB.
BFG GeForce 8600GT OC 512mb
Samsung 2GB system memory

I once put my face on a pilot with a photo i took with my digital camera. ;D

If the face is stretched strangely, things get compicated.  You would need to stretch your new pilot image from the edges of the actual "face" to the sides of the head.  I would also recommend getting shots of the sides of the person's head, meaning that you can put in a view of the ears if need be.
