How can I uninstall DXTBmp? There appears to be no option for this.

....Here's the advice from the MWGraphics site for somebody like you who wanted to reinstall it......

" Download the registry cleaner from my main page. This will let you delete all the registry entries used by DXTBmp. Then try the program (it will automatically revert to default values).

If this doesn`t solve it then repeat the process and then delete DXTBmp.exe from wherever you installed it. Then delete mwgfx.dll and mwdds.dll from your system folder (windows\system32 on XP/2000, windows\system on 98/ME). You should then be able to do a totally clean install using the latest downloaded version......"

...hope this helps.........commoner. ;)

Another option (if you still want a working version of DXTbmpx) is to d/l the latest (v.83) and run the install and overwrite the current. That's how I upgrade DXTbmp(x) last time.

I think I figured out your problem. Check the file properties of the textures you're working on. Make sure they're not Read only.
