PSP-X is out

That's Corel's Paint Shop Pro X (used to be JASC) ...

Version 10 is out, and available for a 30-day free trial.  It has some nice additional tools...

For the flightsimmer, PSP7 is still viable, heck even PSP5 is useful.

One nice thing about PSP9/X is the displacement map feature.   For things like wing ribs, and such detail, you can make them on on image, then do your flat painting on another image, and finally use image 1 as your displacement map ...  it gives you a pseudo-3D look to the final graphic.
