Repaints appear blurred.

Hey people,
I replaced the default 737 and 747 textures with real world airline textures such as air france, british airways.....etc.
But unfortunately they appear blurred. I tried looking at the texture files in the aircraft folder but on clicking the image a message appears "drawing failed".
Is there any possible means of making the textures more rich and clear????

Try downloading DTXBmp.  You can find it in the design area of this site, under Design Utilities.  Its what I use to view textures.

Also, when you have DXTBmp its worth dissabling MIPMAPS via the check box on the right side of the screen before you save the texture.

I've had problems with blurry textures before because MIPMAPS were enabled.

I disabled the mipmaps in DTXBmp and now the textures are clear.

Yes, even i could download DTXBmp from simV. But there are two links in simV and i think one link is not working.
