Sharper Texturing

Postby Tchkinjiu » Mon Oct 06, 2003 1:10 pm

Does anyone know how to detail textures on wings and such.

Exp:

I want to sharpen the textures on the wings from the spot view. Right now they are pretty blurry, and want to increase them!

What type of textures are you using?  I use a1024x1024 565 type, I find that while it is larger than a DXT3 or similar, it does come quite a bit sharper.

I had the same problem, and all I needed to do was remove the mips.
