Painting stock aircraft

can anyone tell me what paint program to use for painting the stock aircraft

You need to get a program called DXTbmp, and then you can use any paint package to do your artwork.

Greetings All,

Sgt_Bilko...  Ozzy is right, before you repaint anything, you need to get DXTbmp downloaded.  It will act as the middle man so that you can send your extended format textures (stock paints) to your preferred graphics editing program.  I use Paint Shop Pro Version 7.02, but that is just my preference.  Adobe PhotoShop is a great program too.  It seems to me that both programs offer similar features for editing the aircraft textures.  Good luck to ya.

I would just like to add this. Once you have any utility it's a good idea to regularly check the developer's site for the latest updates/versions. The site address, if there is one, is usually included with the utility
