I have made this post from a request as to how I paint and weather my textures in a WWII fashion.

I did this in Ps 5.5 so you need to have a decent graphics arts program that has layering capabilities, (and a nice airbrush ::)). if you don

I know this tut is not highly detailed, but if any one wants to do any thing with it, like post it up some where else, feel free, just make sure you give me some credit ;)

oh and erez, currently I dont have any of my work uploaded, but right now I am currently working on 2 aircraft with mustang. they are not yet compleated, but you can find out about them maybe a page back on the arcraft design page. its called 'New Ju87 for fs2002' or somthing like that. Thats if you are interested (note there are alot of pictures there ;))

NIce going Space Ace.... how'd you get the rear of the canopy textured?  :)

As for the black shading on the bottom of the fin/rudder/strake, that's caused by either unneeded " cap"  polygons, OR you can cure them by selecting the offending polys and giving them a new smoothing group.

lol thanx guys! and felix, check the post i have with the textures probs, i exoplained a posted a pic of how i fixed it ;D but a new prob came up :( its all there.... ;D

and i edited the black a bit, this plane is a rendering of friend of mine's
