Mike Stone Retires

Postby Felix/FFDS » Tue Sep 30, 2003 9:30 pm

Just announced in the flightsimmer.com forums, Mike is retiring from flightsim designing.

He's got his reasons, that he'll keep for himself, but I for one will appreciate his offerings to the community.  While he took suggestions, he built very good models.

Mike started building with AD2000 and then made the changeover to gmax.

I think Mike must have had a change of heart as he just released another new FS9 aircraft his PBY-5A Catalina.

And I am glad he didn't retire. :)

He actually decided to come back to the flightsim world after he had taken a long break

Apparently he takes breaks from time to time.  It's always nice to have him back.

Seconded on the Grumman Goose.  His best model IMHO and one of my all time favourites.
