Keep in mind that there is a steep learning curve involved with making a new aircraft, and even the best designers can take months to produce a simple one.

It can get challenging. I still have a lot to learn and I've been at it for a year now. If you need any help, I will do my best to give you an answer.

I dont think I would EVER even think about starting if it was not for this forum and the brilliant designers. If you think of starting, be assured here wil always be someone trying to help. There ar numerous tuturials available that will get you starting. Just Google for gmax aircraft tutorials. All the best, and dont be afraid to ask!

and don't be afraid to test any ideas you have and don't worry if your plane "breaks" or doesn't work in FS (or FS "breaks" when you try to use/load your new plane) experiment and have fun...remember you have the interwebs and the simV forums to use if you need to ask questions or any advise or assistance!
