Nice! Because I'll have some free time in the coming future I bought a huge GMAX-how-to book - 852 pages  :P. Maybe I'll start learning GMAX now that I have the time.

A descent Stuttgart airport scenery would be on my to-do wishlist. But maybe I'll start to learn the basics first.

Keep up the good work,
Cheers,
Fabian

I would strongly recommend more the Stupids idiot guide that's the name you can download this PDF tutorial Its consider one of the best for beginers

http://www.simviation.com/gryphon/tutorials/gMax_00.htm

see, that Bible book carries a lot of thing you won't need ,gmax is used to made Quake models, counter strike, all those thousands of add-ons to those games ,,You must focus in particular in one thing How to make thing works in FS9 or FSX from a model made in gmax OR how to conver a model I made in Gmax into MDL ,That's is the most difficult thing in all of these ,II wish you people would understand that making a mesh is difficult yes, But most difficult than everything its to learn how to convert Gmax files into mdl files ,this is why most of my model I post are not taking from gmax or 3d studio max 7 , Both Gmax and 3d max are almost the same ,but 3d max is much more advance

     Image

People made the same mistake Over and Over again ,They made a complex aircraft they spend a while learning how to shape it and make many great models that will never be inside fsx or fs9 ,I did the opposite I made a dummy plane , and began to try to export that was in 2003 ,I spend a while learning how to make the gears animation, the mapping, ONCE I knew how and see this dummy plane inside FS2004 with a dummy VC ,then I start and made a Boeing 717, PLEASE people try to listen or read me ,no buddy put any attention of what I say here ,is for your sake , there are many models here even in this page that won't ever be in MSFS because they waste all their energy making a beautiful and brillian aircraft but they hhave no idea how to EXPORT into MSFS mdl...

Its begining to looks like a citX
I have made the base map ,I draw a couple crazy lines and put the name in a quick way ,But the base of the drawings are made ,and this map will be a paintkit for others who may wish to repaint..

BTW Linus Osorio is making the gauges of this one and will make other for the Citation Sovereign

BTW ,I'll think I'll make the TWO CITATIONS in two models FS2004(FS9-SDK) and True FSX model

[glow=yellow,2,300]These two lines red and blue are not real textures ,I just draw them to put some details ,the base will be the final[/glow]
