Postby Tequila Sunrise » Tue Mar 11, 2008 9:16 pm

deleted the lst post since i managed to get it sorted now however I've found that I cant save anything. I made the wings closed the file and when I went back to it the drawings had changed scale so now the wings are twice the size they were in relation to the drawings  :o

Are you using viewport drawings as your backdrop or are you mapping the backdrops to planes?

This is a link to the tutorial that taught me how to create a textured polygon as a backdrop image.  Note that it is a zip file.

Gmax Background Tutorial

And, you get a direct link because, for the life of me, even though it's on the FFDS site, I can't find it listed on the tutorials page.  We'll have to bring that up to the attention of the delinquent site manager!

think i'm goin to be bald by the end of this, I've got the drawings scaled and prepped however getting beyond this is driving me nuts. I cant get the boxes aligned in the right planes, they either form directly on top of each other oralong the wrong axis.

:-?
