How to add cargo doors...

Postby draconous » Mon Jun 11, 2007 6:17 pm

I have tried to find an answer in this forum but after 60 pages I must admit I have gotten a little frustrated. I am wondering how to add a cargo door to the A300-B4-200 by SGA. I have a repaint of this plane in UPS and DHL paints but there is not a cargo door and the doors that do open are the R2 and and L2 doors which are only passenger doors. I have been looking for a freeware A300-F4-600 with a UPS repaint but have found none.

On a side note I a wondering if anyone found a way to make a RATO (rocket assisted-takeoff) for the Captain Sim C-130T "Fat Albert".

Well, you can't "add" anything to an existing model without the proper tools (ie: Gmax, FFDS) and the source files that were used to create that aircraft in the first place, which are usually property of the author.  It would be that person you would have to contact and ask for either them to modify it to what you are looking for, or for the source files themselves.  And then you would have to learn how to use the tools and make your part.  Its a long process, so I would suggest you ask the author for assistance.

Ok, thats what I figured but SGA's web site seems to be MIA.

Check the readme file and see if there are any email addresses in there.  You should be able to contact them that way.
