ok. I wanna to start making an aircarft for a first time, but I can't find editors or something to make the aircraft. From where I can download it? I need that the editor be compactible with the FSX or maybe with FS2004 (It works with fsx)....Can anyone help me?

thanks :) but the only thing that i have is FSX deluxe... I wondering if there doesn't any program for making the FSX aircraft than how do they make it.... Can anybody give a link for me where I can get any program for aircraft making (not like there. They sayng that is one program, but it is  in the FS2004 CD and I don't have it)?

Ok, take a look at your FSX deluxe (deluxe only) disc #1 and there should be the SDK, install that and then go to: http://www.fsinsider.com/Downloads/ and download the SDK update and install that. That will give you all the documentation as well as Gmax and its plug-ins for designing aircraft for FSX.

EDIT#1: ok I find it and installed...Now waiting for update to download...If anything goes wrong I tell it here  :)

Hi all, I'm a newbie to aircraft design too, so I thought I would post my question here instead of starting a new thread.

I've just finished my first aircraft in Gmax, and I need to know how to export it, or covert it to an .mdl file for use in FS9. I remember reading something about a program called 'make mdl' or something like that, but I can't seem to find it. Any help appreciated.

P.S. my aircraft is an arwing from the old super Nintendo game "Star Fox"  ;)

Try checking the manual that came with the SDK, it explains it pretty well.
