Simple question ,How can I change the bmp textures to the dds textures? & what software can do this?,for example to change the planes I did more compatible to fsx by changing the gauges for .cab and textures format,I really like to..To release this planes in fsx,
Any suggestion?

Use DXTbmp to save your textures of your aircraft to DDS format. ;D

when saving, go "save as"--> "DDS texture"

Yes, Sam you gave it to me couple weeks ago ,remember ?what I didn't know it was that DTXBmp was able to save in DDS,I was so embarazed when a SkyNoz told me that,

that little (the DTXBmp) software its a pandora box :o,Ill have to work in my Posted planes,to change the bmp format to dds ,what still don't know is how to make Gmax will acept this format,
thanks again for the compresonator sam(I got it since you told me) is very value tool, to see the images (im still studing it of what else can it does)

also Im looking if there's a posibility to change the Old gauge format to the *. cab files to use as they were originaly create it(if its possible)
Cheers

It doesn't. You have to apply the original BMP image to the object in Gmax and convert it to DDS just before exporting. Orbiter uses DDS for its aircraft textures.
