ATC tower

Postby pepper_airborne » Sun Aug 27, 2006 4:31 am

I was speaking with one of the ATC's on the network i fly online, we came to the subject of control towers and that it was a shame that there wasnt a control tower that you could enter.

So, i decided to get default tower textures from FS and try to do something with it.

2 hours later i had this results:

oooh, a new tower!

Big brother is watch you!

Startup and taxi approved.

The flying tower of seattle!

I do not have a download availible, since i do not know if anybody would be interested in such a aircraft.

Looking really nice, but I would recommend a set of custom textures, since the default ones aren't exactly detailed and pretty.  And some interior textures would be cool, along with maybe one of those radar screens in the VC that shows all available traffic.  Could be really nifty for those ATC guys out there.

Yeah, but i wanted this tower to blend in with the scenery, couldnt think of a better way 8).

Interior definately could use some work, though i have never worked with gauges and such.
