Hopefully you can find a real world pilot of one who can get you info.

Hate to mention THIS option but........

You can often (ahem) buy operational manuals for such contemporary aircraft.  They are often available in real world pilot shops....which you can find at some local GA airports and online.

They aren't cheap though for such planes.  I'd guess that something like the Citation X would be in the $150 range or so.  I am currently eyeing the one for the BAe 146-200.....which I fly all the time and my simpit is loosely modeled after.

        Oh My God!I can't even affors a better CPU  ;D, I just need the panel closer view,I download all available real cockpit photos ,and I can't see the buttoms function,Like autopilot ,GPS/NAV,etc,etc,etc,,I can't compite with Eaglesoft (Fr.Bill Laeming)he's an expert,hes got a payware company I hope he doesn't get upset with me,when the briefing reach to him,Im Just making a my 2nd proyect,

Any idea where I could find one for a DC-3?  I think it would be a great thing to have (not really for operating, just a collectors item)

What's the manufacturer of the FMS in the Citation X  ???
Is it the Collins FMS-3000 (used in the CJ3) or is it  Honeywell GNSX FMS, which is featured in the Bravo's.
Or maybe it's none of the above?
The avionics indeed looks like something from Honeywell...

Always wondered (bizjets avionics are always cutting edge), great to have a real Citation X driver onboard  :)

One caveat - while it may not necessarily apply in all cases, one has to be careful of what one is modelling.  A particular airplane may be "stock" or it may have a customized set of instrumentation particular to that airplane.

Example - typically Gulfstream I (G-159) airplanes, when built, had the then-normal-for-the-time analog "steam" gauges.  I know of one that ended up with a state of the art glass cockpit before it was retired.

Another "oldie" some Basler BT-67s (turboprop conversion + of the C-47) have full modern glass instrumentation.

A modeller, without full and direct access to the specific plane, will create it using a "best guess" philosophy, which most probably will differ from "stock" or from a specific airplane.  (All in all, I still am in awe of those that create the whole thing.....)

WHAT?!  Since when to Baslers have full glass?  They use modern analogue gauges.  Show me proof, I really dont believe that the Basler has glass (if it does, im never flying a basler turbo)
