The Mystery Ship

Postby Wing Nut » Thu Jul 21, 2005 11:20 am

If I don't quit screwing around here, I may actually end up making a plane...  :)

Please feel free to tear it apart and tell me what's wrong.  ;)

Looks good to me!

1 question and one comment:

Are the landing gear struts really that thin?

You seem to have one, or two, polys at the back of the wheel opening in the wheel pants that shows a different lighting effect...amybe a twisted poly or a smoothing group issue.

It is the wrong shade of orange Kevin, it should make your eyes water even when wearing Ray-Bans ;)

I agree with SF.... the landing gear overall looks a bit too thin ...

did you make the tires yourself?  I usually just pop in the default ds_tire2 and scale to please.

I'll check the file tonight, though...

Those are brilliant!  Thanks a lot! Now I may have to start all over because those three views are so much better than the one I am working from...  ::)  :)
