Aircraft Preview Window

What do I have to do in the AirEd utility that can enable my addon to appear in the Aircraft Preview Window of FS9?

Usually problems with your model appearing in the aircraft preview window can be traced to the panel.cfg and/or sound.cfg files.  Are the properly aliased/set up?

The model is finally showing up. Turns out it had something to do with one of the objects within the visual model itself [either not having a name or has 3 vertices in a line].

It looks nice, even though the model is sliced in half in the preview window.

In FSDS there is a part name :Aircraft radius. Create a simple box apply the name and enclose the aircraft within the box make sure to check the reference part check box in part properties. And check lines or dots instead of solid. Adjust the size of the box to adjust the size of the aircraft in the preview window. Should fix the sliced in half prob.

Probably Gmax has a way to use the same idea check, the Gmax documentation. I never took time off from FSDS to learn Gmax.

I don't use the nodes in my projects because I usually prefer to group my Exterior and Interior models [it's easier for me].

I'll see what I can do with this trick.

Katahu314,
What I do in Gmx is make a 100%Transparent box(wont show up this way),Get it centered to show all the object(also depends where your COG is in Gmx).May take a few adjustment tries. Then when it's ok Delete all side except the Front.Include it in your Exterior Grouping only.May not be the best but it works great for me.Preview is controled mainly by wing span width(thanks again Milton).

So that explains the problem. I usually set the wingspan to 0.0 ft while the scrape point contacts are located on the very side of the model. I'll increase these values and see what happens.
