Spoileron animation

Postby ajver » Thu Jun 02, 2005 3:19 am

I am building a Dassault Mirage F1 (FSDS 2.24) and have problems animating the spoilerons on the top surface of the wings, working in conjunction with the ailerons only.
It has to rotate up with aileron up and return to flat on the wing upper surface with aileron down.
How do I do this ?

Simply name them l/r_spoiler_nn

Speedbrake/Spoiler - Schweizer       - R_Spoiler, L_Spoiler      Key 0 = Retracted,  Key 100 = 100% Deployed

Then make sure you have these or similar statements in the aircraft.cfg Geometry section.

spoiler_limit=59.989
spoilerons_available=1
aileron_to_spoileron_gain=0.200
min_ailerons_for_spoilerons=0.100
min_flaps_for_spoilerons=0.000

Hope this helps.

How about key framing them as lever_stick_l_r parts with keyframes 0-50-100 ?
