Gmax Exporting Query

Postby Alphajet_Enthusiast » Wed Jan 12, 2005 8:10 am

When I try to export my aircraft from gmax, first I get the message:

MSXML4.dll could not be loaded. Config files won't be read

Then the exporting process goes through and all I get is the .mdl file, no .x file. In flight simulator the window for seeing my aircraft is just black.

I know that my aircraft is properly configured for export thanks to Milton Shupe.

I also did ran a search for all files and folders on my computer and found that the MSXML4.dll is located in the file C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator 9 if that helps.

I understand that I have to export using FSMdlExp.dll to export an aircraft? Do I do this by just exporting selected in the gmax [FS2004 game pack] window? In that case I still get the same message.

Can anyone give me some help on this? Thanks!  ;)

MSXML4.dll, MSXML4A.dll, and MSXMLR.dll are in my main FS9 folder.
