i've done a lot since the last update, specially on the DVC

check it out:

Image

all finished!

Image

the yoke has real reflections, not that fake texture stuff

Image

as close to the real thing as i can possibly make

Image

the zip fie includes a paint kit so you can make your own liveries

Image

it handles as good as it looks! thank you, Microlight!

Image

radios are fully operable from the DVC, and the pilot's armrest is animated

Image

thank you for flying GOL airlines!  livery by Atotti2000

Image

you can read the instructions on that fire extinguisher, also, there's me and my brother in the cockpit (both makers of the 737)

Image

got DVC?

i would like to thank everyone here at SimV that helped me get this thing done!

this would have not been possible without your help

just as i finish writing this update i'll be posting the 737 experience in every major FS site starting with: avsim, FSPlanet and of course, SimViation... then i'll continue posting it on every other site i stumble across

sorry about the year of delay, but as i promised, here it is in time for christmas ;D

well, i have a plane to upload...

so THANK YOU and GOOD NIGHT!!!!

i'll be seeing you

737 is not among my favourite aircraft, but your project turned out so well that it actually makes it look tasty :o - congrats on your hard work and hope you have many hours of enjoyment flying your creation!

Moach baby,

as I've said from when you were asking around for help on the very first few forum posts you made, this is a simply stunning project. A heck of a lot of hours of work must've gone into this, and it's payed off now.

sit back, watch the downloads rack up, and enjoy what people have to say!

If I were old enough, i'd buy you a 737 full of drinks ;)

Bottoms up mate!

Dano.

Dano

This is an awesome aircraft,Moach. Check out my screenies in the "Freeware Screenshots" forum,if you want.

And there's a little mistake in your repaint kit, concerning the windows in the rear section of the right side. The window, which is just in the transition area between the front and rear section of the texture doesn't blend with the last window of the front part.

Your "stock" repaint doesn't seem to be affected 'though.

And I hope there will be some talented repainters (everybody except me...*cough*) out there with enough time on their hands.

Or do you  plan to make some more repaints? If yes, a Malev or SAS one would be very nice. :)

just a little update in the release...

the project was released yesterday (dec 22), and was uploaded to the 4 biggest FS sites i know of:

Simviation
FSplanet
Avsim
Flightsim.com

i'm very proud to say that on it's first day out there it scored well over 3000 downloads :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D
and got 1st place on the Flightsim.com "Hottest 100 files of yesterday" list with 592 hits in only a few hours;D

i want to thank everyone at the SimV forums... this project would not have been completed without your help!

as you know, this project is dedicated to everyone at the SimV forums ;)

thanks again

Moach

PS: about the paint kit thing, the first window in the rear section of the texture in not supposed to blend with the last in the front section... they are supposed to be side by side... (i think... i don't remember too well how i mapped it::) ) but you should be able to repaint nonetheless...

The window, which is just in the transition area between the front and rear section of the texture doesn't blend with the last window of the front part.

i took a closer look at it and, indeed, there is a problem with the fuselage mapping.

i now corrected these problems and will make a whole new release (v1.1)

to compensate for the hassle, i've made a new Continental livery which will also be included in the v1.1 release. ;)

i think tomorrow it will be already available

I'm a relative newcomer to flightsim boards, but I appreciate your hard work and desire to put out one of the best freeware planes I've downloaded. Thanks!

I've noticed that it has a little more power at 90% N1 than the default MS 737-300 especially in the Rod Machado flight lessons. But that's because it's a 737-700 right? (in order to keep under 250kts under 10000ft while climbing)

yes the -700 variation can develop 24000 pounds of thrust, while the -400 (stock 737) can only produce 22000.

the ng 737s are more powerful and have extended wings, so their operaational ceiling is higher also

now im gonna see about that ryanair livery ;)

i plan to collect them all ;D;D
