Help with 3ds

Postby rylasasin » Mon Oct 25, 2004 2:02 pm

is there any way to convert the MDL files to usable 3ds models? (fs2000/CFS2)
to tell you the truth, this is actually for Battlefield1942, to be precise, a mod called "Desert Combat Extended"... I made a s-37 Berkut for CFS2 some time ago, but I've lost the original files for it, only the completed CFS2 airplane remains. So, I was wondering... is there any way to convert the Plane's MDL files back into 3ds files?

Out of curiosity, did you upload the Berkut somewhere?

nope, I never release any of my work because I work on it so much...
that is untill I joined DCX.
if your wondering what DCX is, its a modern warfare mod thats an addon to the popular "Desert Combat" (hence the name Desert Combat EXTENDED) that adds more vehicles, weapons, etc to DC.

and before you ask me to upload it, I probably shouldn't. The plane itself doesn't work too well... not coded right.
