dose anyone know how to convert .MAX files into .MDL files fo use in fs 98
i have gmax and milkshake 3d
if anyone knows how to do it plz help me thanks :(

export as an x file, use makemdl directly on the x file.

woops - I didn't read the FS98 part.
The net answer is:
No. FS98 (and CFS1) used an earlier model format. 3rd party aircraft were done by using Flight Shop or AF99 (both out of print) or (in later stages) AD2000 (also out of print)
With all the limitations that the FS98 model format had, I doubt that any max model could be made that "simple"
