has anyone got any easy to use tutorials for making planes and painting taxtures as im a begginer and i cant understand any of the ones which are on the web site. the package im using to make planes is the one included with flight sim 2002

To build aircraft you'll need to download gmax, its available free on a number of sites on the net. Just do a quick search.
As for design, ask anything you like in this forum, and with regards to repainting slide down to the repainting forum

Yes - the basic principles are the same.

Some program specific commands may have changed a little bit between PSP5 and PSP7, but the important thing is being able to work with layers.
