Problem: I'm trying to shape-merge onto an object...a wing for example. I draw the spline on the bottom of the wing, but when I merge the merge occurs on the top of the wing...I've tried moving the spline around but the merge always goes to the top of the wing.
Any ideas?

Make sure you're in bottom, not top, view when you do the shape merge.
