Postby macaws10 » Mon Jun 30, 2003 2:24 pm

???  Is there a way to create landing and navigation lights in FSDS2 for use with a CFS2 model?

in fs2004 hall the light seting is on the aircraft.cfg file just open it whit a text editor .
There is a 100pixle wide, and 10kb large, size limits on Avatars.

Thank you for doing your part to make this a better place for all who visit by observing these guidelines. :)

Hi
Cfs2 duznt support nav/landing lights(ie switchable)
You could do it with SLDedit back in fsds1 days
Also there are issues with lights and AI.
But with all that said you can put nav lights on using  materials
http://www.simcraft.nl/materials.html
then setting pre process for visable when dark

I agree. Even when you "pre-process" parts as lights the model won't compile to CFS2 format.

I had to work around for the landing lights in the MKI/MkII YAS_spitfires.
