what cd is it on? or do i download it? i can't find it and it is REALLY irritating me.... and it does include what i should name everything, right?

To the best of my knowledge - the FS9 gamepack is NOT out.
You do want to download the applicable FS2002 SDKs - MAKEMDL SDK and Aircraft Container SDK from the Microsoft download site (click on the link in my signature)

will that make it so i can export to .mdl? because to the best of my knowledge, gmax only exports in .p3d, whatever that is

That's what MakeMDL does. It will export directly from Gmax to FS. I would also go check the thread at the top of this forum labled "Gmax to FS2002". It will tell you exactly how to set everything up so you can export simply.

i also need FSModelExp.dle. i have fs2002 standard, not pro. :( to bad the 2k4 game pack isn't ouut yet
