			uhm, for the last project i found myself hunting for effets that i wasnt completely satisfied with, or that simmpley were good but didnt fit my project in some way....anyway, my piont is... is there a tutorial on how to make FX files for CFS2???

			It's called the Microsoft effects SDK.

			Ace. M$ never issued any SDKs for CFS2. I don't know anything about effects & prefer not to mess around with them. The FS2000 & even 2002 SDKs might help a little. I suspect most of it is trial & error.

			Do you guys think it's possible to make an effect file that gives you the heat blur caused by jet engines? I think it'd make an awesome effect for our Citation Jets. That way people would no longer need to make edits to show the heat blur in their screenshots.

			Probably - you can also experiment with a very faint opacity prop_blurred part with an equally faint haze texture.....
Do you guys think it's possible to make an effect file that gives you the heat blur caused by jet engines? I think it'd make an awesome effect for our Citation Jets. That way people would no longer need to make edits to show the heat blur in their screenshots.
