Model converson FSDS -FSDS2 problem

Postby Sjagger2 » Tue Jun 17, 2003 2:40 am

I converse my Fokker G1a from FSDS to FSDS2. The problem is that the fuselagepart becomes transparent in the view however the part-property is solid. Where have I to look for? New videodrivers etc...?

FSDS 2 handles materials differently than FSDS1, taking advantage of the new MDL structure in FS2002.

Go into part mode, select your fuselage, and press F2. Make sure 'part type' is set to solid as you say, then click the 'material' button. Make sure the 'alpha' value of the part's material is set to 255 (solid).

For more info, look in the FSDS2 help file under 'Design Workshop -> Material basics'

I hope that helps,
