Hello,
Whenever I fly a long flight (30+ minutes), FSX usually locks up and nothing can be done to the computer... FSX just freezes and I try to minimize it, close it, bring up the desktop or task manager and FSX just taunts me on the screen laughing at me... LOL
My guess is that my CPU voltages are too low or that my GPU clocks are too high and is overheating, causing the system to lock up...
I've raised the fan speed on the GTX 260 (originial version) to 60% from its stock 40% and that has apparently reduced idle temps at least. I've also raised my CPU voltage (i7 920 @ 3. from 1.2875v to 1.33v and the RAM voltage to 1.66 from 1.64
I've tried these things only so far and haven't tested, but I'm still looking for ideas or even an answer here.
Thank you all for taking a look and I appreciated any responses,
Andy
