Major Problem!

Postby Ben R » Fri Aug 24, 2007 7:34 pm

Hi,

Well, my laptop is an Advent 7016, 512MB ram, 30GB hard drive pentium 4..

FS9 sometimes runs well with it..sometimes, its shuts down my laptop instantly..

I have no idea what is causing this, the harddrive has been reformatted and everything..windows re-installed..but to no avail..

any suggestions on what could be causing this and any solutions would be greatly appreciated.

P.S. i have searched google, which i could not find an anwser.

thank you,

ben

I'm no expert, but I'd say heat is the most likely cause.

Could be heat......also have you updated all your drivers?? Somtimes a conflict with a driver can make a laptop (or any PC for that matter) shuttdown most. PC's will give an audio worning befor shutting down dont know if a laptop would do the some.

If it turns out to be a Heat problem it might be a good ider to get a laptop cooler.  Ebay or www.ebuyer.com will do them should be about
